Hallo Alle,
President Jackson 2 modifikation ??

Re: President Jackson 2 modifikation ??
Hey Johnny and welcome here at Funkbasis,
thats no modification. Thats an unprofessional try to realize an external signal meter connector (in my opinion). In the near of coil L17 (no variable resistor!) is located the TP4 (testpoint) and i will bet, there will take place the tap from the circuit board. In the back of the device this is an jack socket with 2,5mm or 3,5mm for connecting directly the external s-meter

Re: President Jackson 2 modifikation ??
Oh yeah... once you said coil, I realized my mistake. I knew that...
But that's strange because who needs a jack for external meter when one is on the radio..
I have no idea what is modified on it...
I checked the power out with a meter and it's only pushing like 5 watts with the RF power fully turned up...
I get 30 watts when I put it into UK mode, but I believe the Frequencies are different and will not work here...
Thanks for your reply...
